I am a very dedicated, compassionate, and well-qualified caregiver with ten years of experience in providing care. I became a caregiver after taking care of my own mother for three years, seeing and experiencing how a caregiver can help and change so much the environment of not only the client, but also the family gave me the inspiration to help more people in the same situation I was in before. Throughout the years, helping my clients and families and seeing them happy, makes me very happy as well.

My name is Sherri Harper, and I have 30 years of experience in customer service and care giving. Most recently, I attended the Caroline Center obtaining my CNA and GNA certification. Prior to attending the Caroline Center, I had several positions that enabled me to be observant, patient, caring, and compassionate. In addition, these positions enabled me the ability to multi-task and problem-solving utilizing critical thinking. My passion as a caregiver began with my grandparents, who I took care of at home on hospice until they passed. This ignited a desire to ensure our seniors had an advocate to assist and care for them at all times. I have additional experience caring for my god-sister's mother and several church members family.

I decided to become a caregiver about 8 years ago while caring for my 86 year old father. He had several medical issuses some include... COPD, seizures, stoke dementia etc. After his passing i realize how important it was to able to care for those who can not care for themselves. I also realize we may all be face with the need of someone to assist us with ADLs, errands and so forth one day. It brings me joy knowing i've helped someone continue to enjoy a quality life despite their limitation. I'm recently in the process of furthing my career in nursing.
