About Linda

I have no professional experience as a caregiver but feel I have a lot to offer this type of work. I am a caring, compassionate, friendly person, a good listener and strive to help people as much as I can. I am a seasoned administrative assistant and have finally realized that something has always been missing staying in an office environment. At 66 years old I am not looking for a much more fulfilling and rewarding line of work where I can give back to people and make a difference. I have cared for elderly family members during my life as we kept them home for their final days. I have raised four children I am proud of who are good people. They always mention to me that I raised them to care for others and be compassionate. They are what I am most proud of. I find myself in a difficult position after recently losing my job. I have taken a hard look at what my next journey should be. I could go back to office work but I have not been happy in that role for the last few years. I have always felt there was something I could be doing to really make a difference and help someone in any small way to make their life a little easier. I believe the home environment is crucial in mental and physical healing. Being surrounded by loved ones and caring, compassionate caregivers plays an important role in a person's quality of life.
