About Leah

I became a CNA because my great grandmother passed away in her long-term living facility due to poor malpractice. I like being a CNA because I can assist those in need while putting a smile on their faces. I have worked in a rehabilitation and living facility center for more than a year. I have volunteered for two other facilities out side of my city as well as worked with children NB-HS ages. A personal achievement I am proud of is that I have came from a very unpleasant poor past and blossomed into a very upmost successful present life leading into my future. I also hold multiple other medical licenses which are, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Certified Electrocardiogram Technician, Certified Phlebotomy Technician and a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant. Something about myself is that I love to learn, I've never smoked or drank and I try my best to enjoy life to the fullest with an open mind.

    - I like helping people who needs my help.i'm friendly and patient. I used to help my elders when I was back home in Ethiopia. I enjoy hanging with the elderly people. Now I'm working as a home health aide since 2009 and I feel care giving job is part of my life. - I have the plan to study health related fields as I have passion for care giving, even though my educational back ground back home was environmental health technician. Generally I get satisfaction when l help people in need.
