I am a compassionate person who has cared for people in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and privately in their own homes. One of the joys of caregiving is seeing a client transition from dependency to independency. I have learned from past reports that my clients counted on me to provide them with the best care. I enjoy caring for people who need my help. I looked after a client for 7 years until she died at the age of 92. I was heartbroken because we had developed a very close relationship and it was hard to let go. My good qualities include patience, understanding, the ability to listen. I am empathetic - I laugh a lot and also cry when I am sad.
