In 2010 my mother was no longer able to care for herself so I gave up my job as a housekeeper and cared for her for several years. After she passed I was asked to care for a friends parents. Mr and Mrs Dixon from Taneytown. After a while they both passed and I began caring for another woman from Keymar. I cared for Mrs Kitty for about five years, she passed away in the fall of 2019. I found that I really enjoy caring for seniors that just can't do for themselves anymore. I believe they deserve a friend and companion to give them that quality of life in those difficult years. I have patience and understanding after learning from my mother's dementia and her disabilities in her last years. My clients have always became close friends and they always miss me when I leave and are excited to see me when I come back. I believe I am gifted in communicating with these folks who need special care.
