About Julie

I became a caregiver to help others who need extra help and support. I like meeting new people. I really enjoy cooking and baking for others to enjoy. Being a caregiver is important to me because my job has meaning in making someone's life easier. Whether its taking a walk, cooking them dinner or even playing a puzzle to keep their mind sharp. That is the personal achievement for me to bond with the resident and make a daily routine that gives them joy and meaning. I've worked with residents that had Alzheimer's and dementia while it is not always easy. I've learned that doing whatever you can to make their days a little bit better or keeping them interactive can make a big difference. I'm a mother of one beautiful daughter and two adorable dogs. I love animals and would adopt them all if I had the room. I'm a very kind, patient and honest person looking to take of someone who needs the help or just the support of a daily caregiver.

I am registered on the California Home Care Aide Registry. Reference letters and a certificate from an agency can be shown to you (at an interview). I am looking for a care giving job where the older adult needs help because he/she is alone, and where the family will sign a confidentiality agreement. I do not do lifting (or transferring where the older adult's full weight needs to be supported). Letters of reference can be shown to you (at an interview).
