Being a great caregiver depends on who the person is and how the person thinks about it. The reason I am a great caregiver is because I treat my patients the way I want my parents and my grandparents to be treated. I always wanted to work in the medical field like my mom, she was my inspiration. I knew I had to start somewhere while I'm still in school so I looked into a bunch of things I could do without a degree and I found a CNA class. I jumped onto it quickly when I realized how close and connected I can be to my patients. It feels good knowing you can help people who need it. It's not just the things your provide for a patient that they care about. They love having someone to talk to. It makes me feel good that my patients are comfortable enough to open up to me and I'm glad that I can be there when they feel lonely.
