I became a caregiver because I love taking care of people. I have a nurturing spirit and I feel as though that it is my passion as well as my calling in life. Caring for others gives me a since of being, I feel that it allows me to give back to those who need my help. especially our seniors, they tend to be the forgotten part of society which in fact that set the path for many of us, by teaching and showing us how important dignity and respect is and also letting them know that they are not the forgotten or forsaken population of people, because we all are going to get old one day, and to know that ther e is someone to care for you when you need it the most is very important. A personal achievement for me would be completing my degree now that my children are all gone to college and living on their own and doing well. Knowing that I have taught them the skills they need to be productive women within society and not be afraid to go after what they want out of life and hard work pays off.
