I became a caregiver at 17 for my grandmother who was terminally ill due to stage 4 breast cancer. Once I realized that I had a true act at this type of work, I fell in love with my choice. I love to spend time with the elderly and I absolutely love to see the smile on their faces when I care for them. I do plan to further my career choice and become an RN but I will never leave this type of work. I love to do live in because it shows me how my client lives on a day to day basis
Hello families, my name is Sheilah and I am looking for a senior care job beginning mid July /2019. My preference is an overnight position from 7/8pm to 6am. I do have experience caring for someone with Alzheimer's disease, a client with COPD and hospice care. I am hardworking, loving, kind, funny, witty and most importantly patient and empathetic. I am able and willing to drive your loved one and have an impeccable driving record. My past experience involved helping with activities of daily living, driving to doctor's appointments, taking to church and family get together's, medication reminders, exercising (by taking short walks), being a great listener and conversationalist, keeping family updated on any physical and/or emotional changes that I may have noticed. I enjoy taking care of seniors and would take great care of your loved one. References available upon request. Thank you.
A certified CNA and business owner with over 10+years of experience working in the home health care field. I assist with geriatrics client's so they have still have a normal life outside of acquiring my services. I will maintain a one on one client basis until my services are no longer needed and my hope is that by taking on one client at a time, I can dedicate my services based on the needs of that individual client. Looking to work with the Oakland/Wayne county areas.
Hello, my name is YaJaira Martin and I am 22 years old. I have been caregiving in a facility for 2 years. What attracted me to being a caregiver is when I took care of my great grandmother. It was amazing giving a helping hand, reassuring her that she was safe and knowing that she trusted me made me love my job even more. What I love about being a caregiver is that I'm helping someone and they trust me. Meeting new clients and hearing their stories give me so much happiness. One of my personal achievements that I am proud of is being able to take care of my grandmother before she passed and how grateful she was to have me helping her.
Love people been working in health field for quit sometime now, best part of working in this field is know that you changed someone else life for the better. I have certain grew professional, personally and knowledgeably, although i continue to learn there's still more for more. Very open minded always ready for advancement very great that i have the opportunity, greatest part of it all is that we become a family learning how to trust and care for one another.
I became a caregiver because I saw the need that individuals needed in being assisted. I always helped my grandmother until she passed, at an early age I obtained a heart that was sincere and compassionate. I love helping others whether it's care or just companionship I'm able to give a piece of myself. My personal achievement that I am proud of is being on the Dean's List at Western Michigan University maintaining a 3.6 gpa while working two jobs and raising two children as a single parent. I am a hard working with a loving heart. I put my all into what I do.
