I became a Caregiver because I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to succeed and enjoy life despite being disabled by age, or physical/mental disability. I vow to assist in developing and achieving their goals wherever they may be in life. This career is especially rewarding. Personal achievement would be the difference I have made in many lives, one person at a time. I am 50 years old and both a mother and a grandmother. I believe that a Caregiver is a profession a person is called to, and I have both loved and cared for every person I have been blessed to work with, both in the workplace as well as in my personal life outside of work. As Caregivers, our caregiving is a direct expression of our unconditional loving of another. A person will always remember how you made them feel long after you are gone.
