I became a caregiver after returning to college to become a nurse. I worked at an assisted living facility and cared for residents with many different needs. Some of the residents had dementia, some had MS, some had parkinsons disease, etc. I like the feeling of doing something that really makes a difference and seeing the resident smile was an added bonus. I have two children who are my greatest achievements. I am proud of them both. My son is 24 and my daughter is 23. I am married and have two dogs and when I am not working, I like to take walks and like flowers and gardening. I also took care of my Mother in law in our home when she was going through pancreatic cancer. ****I have been a LPN now for over 5 years, I have worked on Long term care facilities, assisted living facilities, Rehab facilities and private home care nursing.
