I have experience and specialize in delivering quality geriatric care. I am also a state certified medication technician, and I have an abundance of experience when it comes to the administering of medication; as indicated/instructed. My expertise is with dementia patients. I am patient, possess the ability to remain calm and am very attentive to each and every need of my patients. I am a problem solver and critical thinker, and have a of vast array of experiance with stand up and hoyerlifts, trache patients, colostomy bags and so much more. I am also proficient in EMAR; electronic medical recording on computers. By nature I am a warm, loving and very compassionate person. My goal is to assist with adls and provide the utmost care to those I take care of, to ensure safety and to treat them with dignity, love and the respect that they deserve.

I specialize in in home geriatric care: Alzheimer’s and Dementia. I am familiar with both EMAR (electronic medication administration recording) along with paper documentation. After working in facilities for so long, I realized that the field isn’t at all what it seems to be on the outside, on the inside. Working short staffed is most feasible for companies, but the paying residents recompense that by receiving a lack of attention and also a severe lack in quality care. I am an honest; God fearing person, and seeing some of the things that I saw at times really bothered me. I decided then that I would transition from working in facilities to private duty, that way I could be accountable for my own work, give my client my undivided attention and deliver the utmost quality care that I could possibly offer; while maintaining my integrity, the clients dignity and respect; to not just them, but their personal property (as human beings). Not just as a name or room number on an assignment sheet. I love helping people. It’s rewarding and above all, it just the right thing to do.
