Hi, I am a woman that heart is set on taking care of the elderly. I have been doing in home care for myself these past 10-1/2 years. I feel strongly that the resident comes first in all that I do. Their needs is what I am there for. You have to have a special heart and compassionate heart for this type of work. That is who I am. Giving a patient my love, my time, my skills is what I enjoy the most. No matter their illness, disease etc, they all deserve the best care possible. My gram died of Alzheimer's years ago. Taking care of her was the most rewarding experience I had in this field but it has lead me to continue to care for those in need.
