1 - After working in the legal field for many years, I have witnessed many inequities toward seniors and the lack of affordable and decent/safe in home care. With the current and ever growing restrictions of health care it is getting harder and harder for families to provide assistance to their family members and still maintain their own family life. I want to be able to assist families with burden of caring for an aging parent as well as continue to provide a good quality of life for the senior in their own home, with their own friends and familiar surroundings. 2 - What I like most about being a Caregiver is the ability to see the results of my assistance to an individual and their family. 3 - My personal achievement I'm most proud of is making a career change from the legal profession to home health care. This change has changed my entire life for the better. I know I am able to feel good about getting up in the morning and going to work. 4 - I have worked in the legal field for more than 25 years. I am very familiar and comfortable working and assisting seniors with their daily lives. I hold a BA in Business Administration as well as being a Certified Paralegal and Certified HHA. I am very easy going and have have tons of patience. My goal for home health care is to provide companionship, meal preparation and transportation/shopping for the senior.
