About Ashley

I became a CNA, because I am a natural caregiver and love helping people. I'm going to school to obtain my LPN, in the meantime I have been employed as a CNA since 2014. Making people smile and allowing them to have someone to talk to, being their companion. If I can put a smile on someone's face every day and work hard doing it, then I'm doing a good job. I made the decision to change my career and I am glad to be able to be a student while working so I can help my husband provide for our baby. I want the best for her and am a firm believer of leading by example.

    Since the young age of 18. I have always love the elderly. I started out in a nursing home and completed my CNA cert which unfortunately is expired cause i let it elapse. I have worked in the health field since 1997 and in 2006 started driving a bus along with doing home healthcare. I tell everyone that i love old people and children everyone else in between is a case by case basis. Its a joke well kinda lol. I believe it takes someone special to be a care giver.

    I am an experienced caregiver and CMA.I enjoy Doing what I do.Being raised by my grandparents and having grown up around other families with mental and physical illnesses as well as getting to go to work with my stepmom,an LPN, I believe has given me the patience and compassion I have. I have worked in facilities before and feel home care is the best for individuals when possible. I love doing private care as it gives me more one on one with my clients. Facilities teach not to "get attached" and discourage bonding between residents/clients and staff and I don't see how that is possible if you truly have a heart. I believe it takes a heart to care for people.
