I began my career as a caregiver when I was very young as a Candystriper At Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, NJ. Upon graduation from high school, I went to IUP and received a BS in Rehabilitation Education. Field training in Johnstown, PA gave me a desire to work with the handicapped, as I saw them adjust to and overcome their disabilities. I raised 5 children, now adults, and went back to college receiving another BS in Biology Education. In Carterville, IL, it was my pleasure to teach Anatomy to predental and nursing students. I went to school with my daughter when she and I received our CNA from Unitec Career Center in Bonne Terre, MO. My first year as a CNA at Baisch Nursing Center was a great experience. It was a small family oriented business and I found I worked well with the residents. I can also do home care well, having served my family as a stay-at- home mom for twenty years. I enjoy meeting and learning about people.
