I am a very friendly, spunky, and outgoing person. I am very empathetic, dedicated, passionate, and loyal. I devote my life to serving others-- in any capacity that I possibly can. I attended nursing school at University of West Alabama for two semesters. During my time in nursing school, I worked in a hospital, offering varying levels of care to patients of various demographics. I also took pharmacology and psychology classes during my time in nursing school. I have quite a bit of experience caregiving for injured/ill relatives as well. I was solely responsible for my close relative's at-home care after they were involved in an accident at work where they were backed over by a motor vehicle, leaving them completely unable to perform routine tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and bathing. I have experience administering medications, performing personal care for patients, observing patient's habits, and recording patient data. I have also previously been CPR certified. I am attracted to serving as a caregiver because I believe that everyone deserves to live their best, happiest, healthiest life, and I have skills and traits that make me perfect to help others achieve that life while simultaneously filling me with a deep sense of satisfaction and purpose. Caregivers are not often given as much credit as they deserve for all of the behind-the-scenes work they do, but I am quite aware of how important their roles are in other individuals' lives and in society as a whole. Caregiving is incredibly rewarding to me in many ways, but I most enjoy the personal relationships I get to form with those that are on the receiving end of my care and/or their loved ones. Every day that passes brings me a new achievement to be proud of-- every time I touch and positively impact the life of another individual, I am filled with gratitude and joy.

I became a care giver, because of my compassion to help the elderly. I grew up being the favorite person to all the elderly in the community, because of my dedication and love for helping others. I am friendly, a great supporter, and very passionate .

I love being a caregiver because I love to help people and its something I always wanted to do. Something I like about being a caregiver is that you get to help a person and sometimes save a life. My personal achievement I'm proud of is graduating and becoming a cna. I am 20 years old and I plan on becoming a rn every since I was little this was my dream.

I have always loved the nursing field from a very young age. It was my hope to be a RN but I wasn't able to pursue that line of work. I received my CNA liscense in 1998 and started working in convalescent home, then I work private duty from there on. If i can lift the spirit of a person that is having a difficult time, then I have done my job. If I can make that person smile or laugh that brightens my day. Whether cleaning, reading book to someone, helping them or fixing a meal; these can reduce the stress an elderly person feels. Sometime the other caregiver need a break. I assure the members of the family that all will be well. Being a caregiver give me a sense of pride. I know that all people are not the same, but if I can help one person relax or show them a better way to attain the results needed to help them, my job has been accomplish. My personal achievement was to see a person walk after having a stroke.. I have been in the business of health care since 1998. I just love being around the elderly client. I am Brianna a caregiver for 7 months & phlebotomist for 8 years! I love being a companion and making caregiving fun and not just a job! Im proud of the many years ive been able to help everyone that i've encountered from drawing blood to being a listening ear.

What makes me a great caregiver is that i have heart some may say too much but when i care for someone i treat them ad if they belonged to my family. Taking care of my mom doing her illness made me want to be a caregiver , nursing wass always a choice of mines. Taking care of the resident and listening to them and their life stories. Becoming a CNA and being a mother and grandmother.

To be a good caregiver, you need to first have the compassion and the skills for the job. I became a caregiver when my grandparents became ill, I decided that I wanted to become a CNA , so I enrolled in the class, completed and passed the class, became board certified for MS and AL and have been doing caregiver and CNA work since. I enjoy assisting the elderly, in any way I can to make they get the help that is needed on a daily basis.
