I have 26 years of experience working with those that need a helping hand. From teaching energy conservation tips, improved balance strategies, managing medication and improving independence with daily activities all with a positive, warm approach. I enjoy turning those I cants into a let's try.

I started my journey as a caregiver with my father who had cancer. This snowballed into taking care (at the same time) of my husband who was diagnosed with cancer also. They died a year apart from one other. My experience in caregiving for them is priceless. The lessons I learned are invaluable. After that I moved in with a elderly lady who needed assistance with cleaning, cooking, bathing, doctor appointments, ect. She died three years later. About that time my mother was needing more assistance. I handled her health issues (which were many), cleaning, cooking, entertainment. I cared for her through hospice at my home when the time came. I then for two years worked with a lady who had dementia and type one diabetes. I have a tremendous amount of empathy for senior citizens. They are wonderful people who need companionship and help doing their day to day chores. The older you get, the harder it gets for simple everyday actives, chores. I am compassionate, honest and have a great sense of humor. I would love to get to know you.

Caregiving is what makes my feet grounded to humility, sympathy and empathy and forgetting my own concern and cares of my personal challenges. I enjoy the fact that people need me. That there are people out there who need my strength and time and I felt so blessed to contribute what I have. It reminds me how grateful I am of my strength and time to be able to help others and validate my existence. It is very fulfilling and rewarding to be a part of help for people who once had full of life and vigor and see myself forward in them. I love the feeling of knowing that part of me is mortal and is subject to limitations and it settles my mind on what and how I wanted to be treated when time permits I'll be of the same situation. I enjoy listening to their experiences there life stories and their solemn self of slow living. I learn in some ways that beauty will fade, strength is temporary and our life is borrowed. I am happy when a member choose me to be their preferred one, when they express gratitude and gratefulness. In the morning it inspires me that someone needs me and my help. That keeps me going going!

I became a caregiver becauseI love providing caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people ,so I know I am doing the right thing. What i like about being a caregiver,I enjoy the opportunity to impact clients' lives and make a difference to them. Hello everyone. I am 60 Years old . The biggest achievement I made or my Kids .I Have Three Kids and Three Grandkids and two Dogs. I have lived in Tucson az for 49 years. I have been a care giver for 14 Years . I have been working with people with Multiple Disabilities have the ability to Multitask and being Successful Helping my Client in there life . That makes me feel great making that Difference in there Life .
