Hello! My name is Ashley Ward and I am a certified nursing assistant that is also certified in CPR. I would love to be apart of your family. Taking care of your loved one, that is in need of help is my passion in life. My goal is to take care, create a personal relationship and help in anyway possible. In that way, the client can help be rehabilitated, taken care of mentally, emotionally and physically. It is hard for a family member(s) to put all their time into the client because of their own responsibilities as in working, children and other important things that need to be taken care of. That is where i come in and would be more than happy to take that role. My desired pay is negotiable. I am easy to work with and I hope to hear from you soon! Have a blessed and wonderful day!
Since becoming a caregiver in 1981has most certainly made such a positive impact that for the past 23 years has been my chosen profession. Knowing I might make a difference in a persons life, maybe just a smile from them, leaves me feeling an incredible sense of well-being. Having the gift of being sensitive to others and maybe to help them feel better is my mission. The one on one care from helping people stay in their homes has been most rewarding. There comes a time for some people where they loose so much of the independence they once had. Having the option to stay in their homes with assistance is an awesome alternative. I do plan to further my education in the medical field at some point but for now I will stick to what I know best.
What makes me a great caregiver because I love people of all ages especially seniors because they have lived their lives for a long time and now the younger ones have to show their respect for them. My parents taught me to treat them with care and to learn from them . What attracted me to be caregiver because my mom had a stroke so my family and I had to take care of her. I enjoyed being being a caregiver it is a passion for me . I love to talk with them and to be a companion. My personal achievement is to continue doing what I love and meet new people.
I used to help my grandmother because she passed away. But when she got really she didn't me to help her anymore. She my mom she want me to remember her the I knew her. So that point on I always said I wanted to help people that can't help yourself. And this one step closer to my main goal of becoming a nurse.
I became a caregiver for various reasons. The main reason for taking on the caregiver role is because it's an rewarding experience being able to help someone when they need it most. The most rewarding part of my job is knowing I have helped someone get through their toughest battles or simply just knowing I could be their to provide assistance or companionship. A personal achievement I am proud of would be finishing up my last year of college, so I can pursue my career in the field of aging.
I am a nice kind person, I love and respect all people. I listen and care for the individual with all their needs.. I love helping people. I enjoy spending time with the children or seniors and getting to know them. I am a hard working Mom to, two boys and have loved every minute of it.
I think I would be a great caregiver because I have worked with the older generation in many ways...I taught for 9 years water aerobics where ages of participants started from 40-91 around 50 per class...I have had to help my father in a rehab facility after a fall and I found myself helping others as well and I loved it...I think today, this type of work unfortunately has too many people not really caring about our elderly or respect them as they should ...It's a job to them...I love it and love hearing stories of their individual lives, etc. I am a hard worker and a doctor's daughter...
The thing that makes me great a being a caregiver is that i treat all my clients as if they as my family. I know how i would want i my family members treated and taken care of if i wasnt around to do so myself. What attracted me to being a caregiver is cause as i was growning up i just love to help out all of the elderly people in the neighborhood and i knew this was what i wanted to do. What i enjoy most is being there to help out and put smiles on faces. I am personally proud of myself for being able to accomplish the thing that I knew I would have accomplished since I was a little girl
I became a caregiver so I could care for my mom who was ill. I like working with and helping others keep their pride and some of their independence. I am a home health personal care aide with 20 plus years of experience working with the geriatric and disabled population. I am currently available for morning and overnight cases.

"People are people"is my moto.I am presently in college right now to open my own adult daycare for Alzheimers in about 3 years that is what I am hoping to acheive in the future.
