Greetings, I have been a Caregiver for 8 years. I also have 25 years of customer care service. Interacting with others seems to be second nature for me. I have worked in both Home Care as well as Facility care. I became a Caregiver through the eyes of someone that simply saw the warmth in me. Every resident, patient , client that I have cared for has never wanted me to leave. I take great pride in giving care. It gives me a since of humbleness knowing that I'm assuring not only my clients but their family members as well that they are in good hands with me.

Hello my name is Teresa Scruggs. I'm 38 years old. A mother of 2 beautiful daughters. I just relocated to Charlotte, NC from Spartanburg, SC. I've been working as a CNA, med-tech, PCA for over 13 years. I've worked in the Alzheimers unit for over 5 years. I love working with the elderly. It makes me smile when they see me and they remember my face or my voice. I enjoy taking walks down memory lane or taking the journey with them as my old supervisor would say. I don't look at taking care or assisting them as a job I look at it as my calling my way of giving back because I hope to one day become older and I'd like someone to help me if I can't help myself.
