Hi! My name is Sharon. I am 27 years old and interested in being a caregiver. I have been a nanny/child care professional, teacher, and tutor for the past 5 years. I love kids. I enjoy the laughter they bring into someone's life. I currently live near Johnson and Pineville-Matthews road in Charlotte, NC. I have a Bachelor's in Elementary Education with a license in Elementary Education and Secondary Social Studies Education. I taught Third Grade for a year from 2012-2013. I've been a Substitute Teacher since 2010. I received Babysitter Certification several years ago and received training in CPR for a summer job as a lifeguard in 2010. I have experience as a nanny/tutor/housekeeper for a family with three daughters in 2009. I also have experience in child care with the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System Before and After School Program from 2009-2010. I come from a French background and can teach French. I can also do age appropriate activities/lessons. I am one of eight children with eighteen nieces and nephews. I have two children of my own, a three and a half year old and a one and a half year old. I have a nanny for them, but I could also bring my children with me in order to give your child(ren) more social interaction. My children would only be there some afternoons if you were interested. I am a non-smoker and have a car. I'd be happy to meet or chat on the phone. I look forward to hearing from you!

I became a caregiver to take care of the sick and elderly. I like being a caregiver because I get to help others. Going back to school to become a nurse is my personal achievement. I am a hard worker, very self-motivated, dependable, reliable, caring and nurturing to the senior's needs.
I became a caregiver when my mother passed away in 1989, when I realized that I could not help my mother then I started talking to God in asking him to help me to be able to get into a class that I will be able to start helping others. Well has the days passed I first started my CNA classes in Knoxville Tenn. were I started working as a CNA for 3 years at Brakebill Nursing Home., after working there for 3 years then my father wanted me to move back to Charlotte, N.C. to be closer to him so I came back home. I waited for 1 year before I went to sign up to take the classes over again and thats when I met my spouse and he suggested that I go back to classes and get my CNA certification again so thats what I did. The thing that I like about being a good caregiver is that for some of your residents we are the only family that they have that really loves and care about them, we need to show them that we are not here to hurt them but we are here to help and car for them as if you where taking care of your own parents or a family member you would'nt anyone to mistreat your family member so why do it to someone else family member then. That I have been doing this type of work for a long time and that my church members and neighbors trust me with their parents and has also recommended me to their friend.Im 51 years old, have 2 daughters 28 and 30, with 2 lovely grand kids, I love the type of work I do, friendly gets along with everyone and loves making people laugh, Im a good listener
I have always wanted to work in the healthcare field and help people. I am a Christian woman and Believe I have God's compassion for His people. I have over 20 years of experience working with clients needing care. I am certified as a CNA and love working and meeting with new folks and their families. I have always had a special love for the elderly. I was very close to my grandparents and miss them dearly. I enjoy what i do and have received alot back while working with seniors. I really enjoy working with them.
I'm a great caregiver because I like helping people with special needs. I'm kind, positive and patient. I have worked with residents with special needs for 8 years as well as helped in the early care of my mother who had Alzheimer's. Great references, very dependable. Fun and professional. Raised 3 wonderful children!
