For the last 7 years I took care of both of my grandparents until their last day. My grandmother had been diagnosed with dementia. Naturally over the years she progressively got worse and passed at 90. Almost a year to the day later my grandfather at 98 had stroke and passed 3 months later. I maintained their home, coordinated all of their care, appointments, meds, cooked, bathed and cleaned. It was the most rewarding years of my life.
