I am responsible, hardworking, highly compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant with current NC Department of Health Certification and technically skilled in attending to patients in diverse healthcare settings, with 15 years experiences serving chronically ill, physically and mentally disabled patients, including assisting with daily living activities and household tasks. I married my high school sweetheart 22 years ago and am the mother of two busy grown children and grandmother of new born grandson, and the primary caregiver for both my grandmother and grandfather. My entire family has served as a true inspiration in my life and is a happy reminder of why the services I provide is so valuable to families. I am now available from 2 am to 7 am starting Monday after midnight and ending at 7 am on Fridays, or I am available from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm Mon through Friday. I have always wanted to give the best quality care to the elderly, they should be held in high regard and with deep respect. I am also very willing to help any one of any age, to know I am making them feel better, and if I cant physically, that I can cheer them up mentally. Even though the pay is not high, the idea of what I am doing for another is rewarding. I have been am manager and secretary but have always wanted to be a caregiver. I like to cook healthy meals and watch my patient start feeling better just by changing her eating patterns if willing. I enjoy bathing my patients as I know how clean and better it will make them feel. I love to hear the stories of days of old. I love when my patient tells me, " What would I do without you."
