My name is Sha'Coya Fleming. I am a recent nursing graduate from NC Central University. I am outgoing, love to make people smile. I became a caregiver in high school when my great grandmother whom was 97 years old became ill with Alzheimer's disease, while taking care of my great grandmother I worked over the summer at a assisted living facility in the Alzheimer's unit. That summer I knew I had a heart for nursing and the elderly. What I enjoy most about caregiving is being able to keep the person in their home for as long as possible also being there for companionship is a big one for me because I learn so much from my clients and it's always good to have a listening ear. A personal achievement I am proud of is being there for the elderly when family or friends are busy. I am also proud that I have reached out to many families for taking care of their love ones.
