Hello, my name is Kristen, I'm a down to earth person who loves the Elders. I have always had a passion for the elder. I remember going to see my Great Grandmother in the Nursing home and seeing people asleep in wheelchairs and some just walking up and down the halls. As a child, of course, I didn't understand why these people were like this. I just knew my heart was bleeding for them. I always went to this one lady and gave her a hug the smile on her face warmed my heart and I knew this was what I wanted to do when I was older so I did. Here I am 20 years later. I have worked in many different areas such as the Emergency Room, Assisted living where I furthered my career and went to get my med tech so I could pass meds to my Residents. I also worked for Hospice of Greensboro for 5 Years. Making a difference in someone's life is what I enjoyed the most. I really enjoyed the one on one care when I worked in the field with Hospice. I was able to really get to know my clients and build that one on one relationship so I could give the best care possible. I know do Private duty to help people stay at home if that is the family's wishes. I also will go to nursing homes and assisted living. Where ever your loved ones calls home. I must say the biggest achievement that I love that I was able to do was put a smile on my client's faces. When you come back on a Monday and you hear " I'm so happy to see you!" You know you're doing something right in their life. I do have a reference from the families I have worked with in the past. Please let me know ahead of time and I can provide that for you.
