While living in Japan with my husband who was in the military I worked at an elderly care facility. Myself and 3 other people were in charge of the care of 22 elderly care patients. Assisting in daily living activities, providing bathing, and incontinence care as well as mind stimulating activities. Many of the elderly had various degrees of dementia and alzhemiers. We took the clients on various field trips and accomplished a sort of field day that many of the clients participated in.
