Upon my internship I was astonished on how the CNA cared for the patient's and I decided I was going to make a change. I enjoy being around the elderly as they seem to amaze me with their knowledge and input on subjects they talk about. All they need is someone to care about them and all to often they do not get the proper care. I love a challenge and being a caregiver gives me that opportunity. I get to work with a variety of clients who all need different care some needing just companionship and others more intense care, which I enjoy very much. I have achieved so much throughout my career and the one that sticks out the most is how every client I have cared for always tells me how great I am and I am a very caring and compassionate person. I have always had the ability to make people feel comfortable and if I can put a smile on a persons face everyday I have not only made a change in their life, but my life as well. I feel my mission here on earth is to care for the older generation in a way they should always be cared for with dignity and respect. I like to keep a clean and clutter free environment for the safety of my clients. I also keep the family at ease knowing their loved one is in very good hands. I am multi-talented in many different areas such as nursing, cooking, cleaning, rearranging items, drawing, computers, mathematics, activity planning, etc.
