Why did you become a caregiver? I enjoy the opportunity to impact clients’ lives and make a difference to them. I appreciate the chance to get to know clients and their families and become an integral part of their lives. What do you like about being a caregiver? Seeing a smile of appreciation over just a small deed that I do. What is your personal achievement you are proud of? I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client’s day, that means a lot to me. It is important to laugh. What is your personal achievement you are proud of? My greatest accomplishment has been to be able to mentor others, to provide guidance and support in order to foster success in one's professional and personal goals. Tell us something about yourself? “I get along with people very well. This has made me a team player at all jobs I have had. In my previous employment as a sales associate, I got along well with the public and went out of my way to help both customers and co-workers. I am thrilled to have an opportunity to apply my people skills and caring attitude to a job as a CNA and hope to make all patients feel a little more at home and very well cared for.I know I have the ability to work long hours and multitask without losing my energy or positive attitude.”
