I became a CNA I in 2005 because I LOVE taking care of people. In 2007 I became a CNA II. There are just only a few differences between the two but I enjoy so much caring for people I wanted to know as much as I could to give them the best care at all stages of their life if needed. In the years I have been a CNA I have stayed with my clients from there start in home care til their passing. The passing part is the hardest part of my job because it's not just a job it feels like a member of my family I've lost. Doing home care I feel you have to LOVE what you do. The people you care for will see it if you don't. It's wonderful when you can go to your job an it's more like having fun with a member of your family. For me I get attached to my clients. I have to admit they're nothing I wouldn't do to help my client or their family that is within my scope of practice.
