I am a great caregiver because I take pride in my work. I treat my clients as if they are my own when providing care and treatment. I chose to become a caregiver because I have a passion and desire to help and give back to others. Some of my personality traits that make me a great worker are having a lot of patience, knowing how to be kind and gentle, and knowing how to enpathize with my clients throughout their disease process. When providing care, I don't look at it as job. I actually enjoy my field of work and aim to better the quality of life. Hi there, Thank your for reading my profile! To start, God has put caregiving in my heart and I'm so happy he did, because I love it. Currently, I'm working for retired Doctors with Dementia in their home--I have a letter of recommendation too. Moreover, I'm certified in CPR and other certs; please feel free to ask. As of right now, my Doctors mostly need me on 3rd shift (11p-7a) so I'm available to care-give an extra 20 hrs a week. Ultimately, I'm also fluent in Spanish and some light German. I am a mother of three daughters . I have always been taking care of someone. When I was a teen I babysat and in my late teens I took care of my grandmother who was dying of cancer. I have done fill in work for my aunt who use to work as an in home aid caregiver. I have worked for two years in a chiropractic office working with older people. I enjoy being with people and learning from them and being able to help them to live their lives to the best of their abilities. That is what I love about care giving. It is not just a job but a way of connecting to other people and being able to help them and do it for a living. I am proud of being able to raise my daughters because I have been a single parent for the majority of their lives. I obtained my Associates degree while raising them and I am twenty four hours away from receiving my Bachelors degree in Christian Counseling and Caregiving and my daughters are my reason for continuing to get better as a person.
