Each day I reflect on what I have done to assist someone outside of my immediate family/group of friends and decide how I can be more helpful the following day. I am self-driven and time efficient so I never leave before my job is done and I rarely stay later than my designated hours unless directed to do so by my employer. I have always wanted this to be my career. I guess it's because I enjoyed taking care of my grandmother who passed away. I feel as though when you are elderly and/or an infant you need special care because you can't do most of the things an average young adult can do. I was volunteering at an Adlut Daycare center in Raleigh as a companion. I have worked at a home care agency doing live-ins and or whatever they needed me to do.
