I actually became a caregiver September 2007 when I had my first son but I found joy in taking care of the elderly the year of 2011. In my opinion babies and the elderly have a lot in common and needs special attention at time. Its wasn't until my son fell sick that I knew that's what I wanted to do which is help the people who can no longer help themselves.I enjoy working with the elderly they're very easy to get attached to though and actually becomes just like family. I thought one time about changing my field but I'm now currently taking the medication aide class and I'm proud of that because at night when I lay in bed I'm happy to know that I was able to help someone and be a part of their life.
