I've always wanted a career helping others. I love working with elderly people. They are always so appreciative of the help and also to have someone to talk to. I have been helping my grandmother, who is now 91 years old and lives at home alone, for the last 5 years and worked with her full time from November 2016- August 2017. I started working with an in-home care company in February 2016. I started out as a caregiver and now work full time with them as a scheduler. My job is to schedule caregivers with the clients that we have. We have a variety of clients with schedules that range from 2-3 days a week to live-in positions. We also have caregivers with the same availability.
