My Name is Jennifer Murtagh,. I became a caregiver years ago when a friend needed help with her 96 year old aunt. We quickly became close. I assisted her with everything you can think of from household chores to bathing. I spent 60 hours a week with her, and when she needed the extra care I spent the night. I believe that being a caregiver was the most rewarding thing I've ever done. I learned a lot from her and she actually enjoyed giving me advice on many different topics. Sadly this woman had many strokes in her last few years, but we worked through each one and learned how to overcome her lost abilities. We actually gained a lot of those abilities back by re- learning them! I made her comfortable in her last days. I am CPR and first aid certified. I am good with pets. I currently work with children in a daycare facility/day camp, but am looking for a full time position. I'm a honest person and always go the extra mile for anyone in need. I cook, clean, grocery shop, help with pets, even tend to gardens! Anything you need assistance with I'll be there.
