I became a Caregiver because I love people. After working in the juvenile system for 16 years and working as a Caregiver part-time that it was time for a change and I really love working with Seniors, those with disabilities and people in general. I love the people. I love the wisdom that they share and the many lessons of life that have been shared with me. With the previous families that I have worked with the sense of trust that they have with me as a Caregiver. Trusting me not only to come into their home and provide for them or their love one but also living in their home to provide overnight care. The repore that I have established with the family members as well as the client. I have been serving as a Caregiver for more than 10 years in North Carolina and Virginia. I assisted with taking care of my own grandmother and my father before his passing. I have a degree in Rehabilitation Studies and I love working with people. As, I stated I worked with juveniles for 16 years, loved the job, became burnout with the red tape and government cuts. I enjoy working with the young and the young at heart. I am a mother of three and grandmother of three. I am a Christian woman with high regards for ethics, responsibility, compassion, treating others with respect and love. I take pride in providing quality care, doing my best to treat each one individually, based upon their needs. I love reading, working in the yard and cooking.
