I started as a cna in my teens I then went to tech sch to study 1stsurgical technology and the to bBC Become a LPN Therefore I have been a Caregiver for many years,,especially enjoy the geriatric client.I love giving this population care comfort and the respect due to them,.in addition I am able to recognize medical problems as they arise..I DO NOT WANT TO WORK AS A LPN AT THIS TIME As I have spent the last 51\2 yes caring for a now 95y/o woman and caring for her was a greatest joy and achievement.. Each year seeing her grow older in reasonable good health,and knowing I had a contribution to her longitivity..I became very sick and this is why I stopped LPN nursing NOW RECOVERED, But found my niche in one on one home care....
