I believe that communication is extremely important. I have excellent communication skills, especially when it comes to listening to the patients and communicating with the families about their loved ones needs. I find communication is the key to problem-solving. I have empathy for the pain and suffering of my patients and treat my patients the way I would want my mother to be treated. Companionship is just as important as the physical care that I provide. Patients look to their nurses as their advocate and it's very important to me that my patients feel heard and listened to. I'm a caregiver by nature. I have a special place in my heart for the elderly. I enjoy everything from the caregiving on every level to the conversation and company. The achievement I'm most proud of is obtaining my LPN license while raising my daughter on my own.
