Bradley Carbone, Quadriplegic SCI Patient * Assist in the daily functions of living, to include help with bowel program, catheterization/stoma care, bathing/grooming/dressing, hoyer lifts, errand assistance/transportation, range-of-motion therapy, meal preparation & dietary assistance, pressure sore/wound care, and medication management. * Assist with sweeping/mopping, cleaning dishes, washing/folding laundry, and sanitizing bathrooms & medical equipment as necessary. * Work a one- to three-week shift (with a consecutive two-week break in-between) during each winter month unless filling in for another nurse. * During the pandemic, take extra caution in avoiding the public, sanitizing surfaces/supplies, wearing gloves/masks, washing hands regularly. Additionally, get tested regularly for COVID-19 to avoid contaminating others. * Travel to NY to fill-in for emergencies and train new hires as necessary. Take extra precaution during flights to avoid contamination.

* Assist in the daily functions of living, to include help with bowel program, catheterization/stoma care, bathing/grooming/dressing, manual transfers, hoyer lifts, errand assistance/transportation, range-of-motion therapy, meal preparation & dietary assistance, pressure sore/wound care, and medication management. With the business personal assistance aspect, help coordinate "beach day" events and organize/compose business presentations/articles/formal brochures. * Assist with sweeping/mopping, cleaning dishes, washing/folding laundry, and sanitizing bathrooms & medical equipment as necessary. * Work a four-day shift (Thursday morning to Monday morning) each week unless filling in for another nurse.

* Perform and log wound drainages, staying cautious of pus/thickness, discoloration, excess pain/warmth, odor, inflammation/swelling, and tenderness. Apply and change bandages as necessary, as well as assist in changing compression garments, sponges, and stomach board. * Assist with childcare, medication management, shot administering, pre-op/surgical/post-surgical appointment transportation, and script/medication drop-off and pick up, as necessary. * Ensure safety and comfort following the surgical appointment and the patient's stay, keeping updated and in contact with both the patient and Miami Aesthetics. * Answer questions and provide necessary insight and guidance to ease patient's anxiety. * Monitor any side effects regarding the patient's absence of daily medication, as a requirement in taking post-surgical medication.

* Transport patient to and from appointment, as well as assist with post-operative care as necessary (depending on the patient's tolerance to anesthesia). * Ensure patient refrains from eating/drinking before surgery and that all pre-operative supplements are taken properly.

* Assist in the daily functions of living, to include help with bowel program, catheterization, bathing/grooming/dressing, transfers, wheelchair/mobility lifts, errand assistance/transportation, physical therapy, biohacking/nutrigenomics, ketogenic/wild meal planning/dietary assistance, pressure sore/wound care, deep tissue therapy, physical therapy/exercise, and medication management. * Assist with steam cleaning, vacuuming/sweeping/mopping, cleaning dishes, washing/folding laundry, and sanitizing bathrooms & medical equipment. * Take extra care in providing administrative support in dealing with legal, medical, and general business paperwork. Assist with bill payments, organizing paperwork, record-keeping, and appointments. * Work a seven-day shift each week as necessary with two afternoons/nights (Thursday and Friday) off until a relief nurse is hired. * Bathe and groom Ziggy, the emotional support dog, and take him to any appointments as necessary. * Assist with the placement, interviewing, and hiring process regarding relief nurses/caregiver and replacement nurses/caregivers.

* Assist with light exercise, clothing/bandage/compression garment changes, showering, ice pack placement, medication management, shot administering, pre-op/surgical/post-surgical appointment transportation, and script/medication drop-off and pick up, as necessary. * Monitor dietary intake for 48 - 72 hours, avoiding excess salts, sugars, and fat. Provide soda crackers, water, and fresh fruit to help with nausea. Ensure proper daily water intake (1 gallon). * Ensure safety and comfort following the surgical appointment and the patient's stay, keeping updated and in contact with both the patient and Spectrum Aesthetics.

* Assist with an overnight routine, taking extra care helping get into bed/the restroom every hour with the help of a cane, administering medication, providing water as needed, and adjusting her thermostat/covers as needed. * Fill-in multiple 12 hour shifts as necessary and when possible until a permanent caregiver/nurse is found.

* Assist in the daily functions of living, to include help with grooming/bathing/dressing/changing, assisting with errands, transfers, companionship, wheelchair/walking assistance, transportation to events/outings/church/dinner, sweeping/mopping, cleaning dishes, washing/folding laundry, and sanitizing bedrooms/bathrooms. * Maintain a daily log entailing unpredictable behavior, bowel movements, meals, activities, mood swings/spikes, and violent tendencies, as well as all receipts for the day. * In times of decline, take extra care in carrying and transferring patient, monitoring/altering caloric intake, preventing falls and missteps, and watching for delusions and mood swings. * Work a three-day shift (Friday morning to Monday morning) each week unless filling in for another nurse.
