I became a caregiver for many reasons, first that comes to mind, is because I was a single mom with a son who has Down Syndrome. I wanted to be a professional and have the skills to care for him. Since becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant I have made many responsible decisions and have enjoyed the last 13 years learning and applying the skills that I have acquired. I have been Certified in the State of Nebraska and in the State of New Mexico, I have returned to California to remain close to my family as we have had to move our mom into long-term care. I am very glad to have made this change and look forward to working here in California.
