My mom had Dementia and I was her caregiver when my father passed. Granted she resided in a Retirement community I still saw to it that her medications were correct and delivered in cassettes, that her doctors appts were made and that we got to them. Still was able to be her daughter, but as time and the digression of Demention took its toll, it became necessary to move her to a memory community. So she was my inspiration and teacher for becoming a CareGiver. I love what I'm able to offer clients and everyone I've had and have teach me so much. It's my passion and I'm with someone every day. I have great humor. I was born and raised here and it seemsalmost every client I've had/have, we end up knowing someone together.
