The moment my son was born and our extensive hospital stay began, and as I watched all the medical professionals and staff fall in around us to support and care for him, I knew this is what I wanted to do. I realized in that moment there is no other job where you have the opportunity to help save a life, sustain a person, and support a soul and its emotions all in one day, every day; and I wanted to be a part of that. As a result I have gained my Certified Nursing Assistant License and Medication Aide License, have had a rewarding start to my career over the past year working in a nursing home, and have gained priceless experience in skilled care, memory care, and restorative care. The only thing I could love more than my job and the privledge of providing care for those that I do, is my own little family and spending time with them.
