Hi, my name is Brianna and the things that make me a great caregiver are compassion, patience empathy and willingness to do whatever it takes to help someone. I have been a cna for 5 years now and have worked in just about every health care setting and with all types of patients, Caregiving is not just a job. It is a chance to help someone else's situation or life be a little easier. It's a way to show someone cares about them and in return those who help actually end up learning something from those they help. What i really enjoy most about being a caregiver is the conversation and stories about their lives and to see how no matter how different we could be their are still similarities found . Everyone needs to have personal goals and achievements. I am proud of all my achievements in my life but my top two are graduating from college and having my son. Two things I have always wanted since I knew what I wanted to be and do in life.

I am a great caregiver because I care! I personally feel that because of the type of care my biological grandmother and adoptive mother provided to me from their own angle, is what attracted me to being an individual that is able to help others in ways that they can't...in a healthcare way. I enjoy listening to people. Sometimes companionship is all they need or want. I'm currently proud that I have extended my experience as a caregiver by enhancing my learned skills and turning my worth into something greater by gaining education to pursue a career as a nurse I'm the next 2-3 years.

I am 36 and have been in caregiving around five years. The need for elderly caregivers was brought to my attention when we had to find help for my then ailing grandfather. Since then caregiving has become a job and a passion. I view the elderly as the foundations of our communities. They spent their lives caring for and nurturing others and deserve that same consideration when their bodies and minds start to fail them. Getting older is hard and knowing I'm making their lives just a little bit easier while also showing empathy and understanding is what I enjoy so much about caregiving.

I have firm but not to strong personality, l worked with my prior client until hi pass away (seven years), I have my profesional title as medical doctor from Mexico , but because of lack of language , and understanding I didn't pass my boards to practice medicine here. I am a good person, i believe in God, I have a good care of people, under my care, I cook good meals inheritance from my sister, I like to work with people taking care of them and their needs , talking to my patients, knowing them and their relatives , pass my board in Spanish to turn into medical doctor, deliver a baby, that is the most exciting experience for me.

I enjoyed helping others. Driving & serving my community is rewarding. Being disabled myself. Giving hope & encouragement to someone facing health crisis.Which left a spirit of Hopelessness.They were independent ;sickness made them become dependent individuals.I want to help in their transition.By helping with character traits. By me displaying hope, discipline, consistency & determination is a daily agenda for me & my company. Being a Caregiver/ Entrepreneur.Black owned was a great achievement.Now as of April 23,2018 I had a new hip installed.I endured!

Hi, my name is Teanna. Better known as Tee, and I'm a caregiver/Cna at Carelinx. I've been in the healthcare field going on 8 years now. I'm very much passionate about what I do. I'm dependable, trustworthy, and, compassionate towards my patients. Not only do I give them physical support, but emotional support as well, even through difficult times. So I often build great relationships with them. All families want to make that their loved ones are in good hands, so my main focus is to assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and getting to and from activities and meals according to the individual service plan. But I also allow and encourage patients to do as much of their own care as possible to remain as much independence as possible.

Since I can remember my life has been centered around caregiving for individuals. I enjoy helping individuals reach a new level within their lives. With 20 years of care giving under my belt as well as being a mother to 5 children caregiving is something that comes naturally to me. I graduated with my BA in Healthcare management & is currently pursuing my MA In clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am very proud of my pursuit of my education because I learned to nurture myself more which in return helps me to become an even better caregiver to all I come in contact with.
