I enjoy working one on one with people and getting to know them as a person, rather than a client. I believe that people should be able to live how they would like to live, regardless of the state of their health--if you're not enjoying life, then what is the point? I am patient and empathetic, and try to always think of how I'd like to be treated if the roles were reversed.

I originally got into it because I didn't like how my grandpa was treated in the hospital. Our elderly are overlooked at times and they need an advocate to speak for them and ensure their concerns are being met. I enjoy the people and the families I have met over the years.
