I am a single mother of an 9 year old boy I'm originally from California I've lived in Colorado for many years now and I love spending time with my family .

I became a caregiver, because I like to be of service. I have an AA degree in Mental Health and Human Services, and have worked in the field for over 25 years. I started out working Direct care and then went on to provide staff training on how best to serve a variety of individuals. What I love about care-giving is that I am able to use my skills on a one on one bases to improve the quality of life for the customer. One of the things that I am most proud of is that I had a client that everyone told me that she was unable to do anything to help herself, such as eating bathing and communicating her needs. When I worked with her in 6 moths she was able to feed herself and she was able to communicate her needs to me as well as others. Love, respect and honor moves mountains. I have years of experience in the service field and I am an excellent communicator and love to support each individual in living a life of joy and love.

Ive been working in this feild for 20 years. I take care of my residents/ cleints just like i would my own family. I am very caring and a very understanding person. I show my resident/ clients the respect and dinity they deserve.

Im energetic, friendly, i love working with the elderly. Ive worked 15 years, in Ireland and here. Currentley finishing a contract then moving oct 11.i like to interact with them, for companion ship, and motor skill. Alzheimers is my specialty. What attracted me to care giving is they are still in there, and can tell some wonderful stories. I enjoy int eracting.that i made it through collage in a foreign country to be the best i can. I have a true passion for caregiving. I love to help people in any way that I can and enjoy spending quality time with those who need it. I have past experiences working with people who need assistive care. During that time, I valued being able to make a positive difference in an individuals life. I would be a great caregiver because I am very easy to get along with and have a great sense of humor! I became a caregiver as a stepping stone to becoming a nurse. I thought that it would provide me some insight into whether or not I would enjoy nursing, and now I love my job. Hello I am an Nurse by trade and am looking for new ways to help people. I have spent over 10 years offering education and rehab assistance for patients. I have strong knowledge with diabetes education/prevention/treatment, wound care, COPD, etc... I am CPR certified and IV certified. I also can offer alot of assistance with medication questions and set. Everyone I have every taken care of has been an extension of my own family and each one gets complete care and compassion and treated like a human being.

I am currently a caregiver and love this line of work. Working with older adults, especially those with dementia, is my passion. I look forward to the chance to work with a person one on one, along with their families.
