Those who provide home care to others need to be patient. I have patience, compassion, attentiveness, dependability and trustworthiness. I have worked as a caregiver for lasy 6 months, so I met lots of veariety clients and I know how to take care of them. What attracted me to being a caregiver is that I have affection and compassion for my clients and a strong desire to help. I enjoy caring, helping and communicating with them, and having good relationships. I am proud that my clients I care feel happy and comfortable through my care.

I feel like I am caring, loving and patient individual, I like to care for others that need care, I have an hear to listen when someone needs someone to talk to, I don't mind helping others, it's a part of my trait. I once was going to school for nursing, but didn't finish, so I worked in the acute hospital and convalescent home, plus in-home care for quite a while. I love caring for the sick and disable. I like to try and help and encourage others to get better and not to quit. I saw a friend of mine hold on after she was diagnosed with breast cancer, when the doctor's had given up on her, that I was there to encourage her to not give up and she lived a healthy life for a little of two more years, when the the breast cancer attacked her again, and she was tired and gave up and died.

I am a happy person who likes to help out others. i feel like my volunteering background in firefighting can help with care giving. We often get medical calls that range from heartaches to complications of health. My personal achievement that I"m proud of has to be me becoming a volunteer firefighter. I've had a lot of experiences with helping people out when they are in need.

Almost a decade of caregiving and still looking forward in helping people from all ages. I love the field, I have a lot of experience and I'm still in the field because there is always something to learn.
