I am a mother of 3. Caring for others has ALWAYS been in my soul. I cared for my grandparents as a child just trying to help and be around them. I have been a care giver since I was 15 I love working with the elderly or even the young who just need some help. I am reliable, compassionate and understanding. I enjoy being with someone and knowing I am making it easier for them in what can be the last years of their life. I learn to care for your family members how they want and need and grow to love them like my own! I love to cook and championship is my favorite. My job is done when I know I have made my client feel safe, protected, loved and cared for how they want and deserve to be treated.

I become a caregiver because I enjoy taking care of elderlies. It is satisfying to see them happy and enjoying life with the loving care I give. I like to bring change to a family - a change that sees improvement from the day I first arrive. I had been a Caregiver for the last 11 years and had worked privately as well as through agencies. Have worked in private homes, facilities and retirement centers. I had cared for clients with different backgrounds and cases of Alzheimer/dementia the most.

I always have a positive mind,happy before I start my day and be patient Always love to help people in needs.Listen to the patient story of their life and learn a lot in life.I help a patient which the doctor said he gonna died in 2 days and the patient was in hospice,incontinent,reposition every 2 hrs,I pray and range of motion,healthy meals,good adls,And after 3wks he got better and now his driving again

I am detailed oriented individual who is flexible & very compassionate, I have high tolerance for agitated clients and understanding the illness or disability of clients over the years has made me patience and Loving. While treating a client like family I am also professional in allowing privacy and What the client and families needs and wants are. I have dealt with a clients of different backgrounds and illness from Companion to bed ridden , Hospice , Copd paraplegic to quadrapeligic . I have references and numbers from my previous clients. Light house work duties and full care of client from feeding using a tubing or just spoon fed ,use of oxygen , bathroom , dealt with incontinence and Use of Hoya. I am a Fijian matured realiable trustworthy woman who looks forward to working with you and your loved ones.

I love meeting new people, socializing and travelling. I decided to be a caregiver because I believe that I had the qualities to be able to do the job. I am passionate, patient, kind, caring, loving, soft spoken amd friendly. My personal achievement was when I took a year off school to stay home and look after my grandad when he was on hospice until he passed, that to me was the biggest sacrifice a teenager could ever do for someone you loved and cherished.

I belong to the Elders' Guild in Berkeley and fell in love with the attendees. I got the idea about being a Caregiver to sweet people such as these. I am a semi retired Certified Yoga Teacher/Holistic Health Coach/Massage Therapist . I also had a small business making and delivering Lunch...I'm a great cook and very organized and neat. Also I love to laugh and have fun as well! I am not a nurse but am very capable and would love to serve with talents gained by raising two sons and keeping a beautiful household with delicious food! Also I have a darling Bichon/Poodle that would bring you much joy.

Regardless of whether I am working as part of a larger team or when I have been a leader of a group, I always put great effort and detail into all of my tasks at hand. I plan ahead well, making sure to minimize potential mishaps, as well as always taking preventative measures to make the work experience safer, effective, and above all, enjoyable for all involved. That is my work and life philosophy - doing it well, and taking the proper time to do it well, leads to great results and always builds strength and longevity in all of my relationships, personal and professional.

I've been caregiving since 2004. Everyone is different and so care should be tailored to every individual. I feel I'm pretty Patient and gentle and I take pride in my care and work.

In the year 2000 I joined the staff of a brain injury hospital, where I worked as a house keeper. Seven years later I decided I wanted to be a personal caregiver. I went to school and became a CNA in 2007. I was then offered a job as a part time caregiver. I enjoyed the one on one care with my patient and decided I liked being a personal caregiver instead of working at a hospital. Since then I have been working with private patients full-time. I have my own car, I am able to drive patients to doctor appointments and to run errands. I'm also a good cook or so I've been told by just about everyone that's tried my food. I really enjoy being a caregiver, and wouldn't trade it for any other job. I have worked with people with a vast variety of things such as Alzheimer's, Dementia, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Paraplegics and many more.
