I became a cna in 1997 and continued my desired position for 12 yrs ranging from convalescent homes to Lindsay and Sierra hospitals then my last employer was private in home that's where I realized I was my happiest, the friendship and bond you create is so much more then just helping someone out and going on your way, I bonded and made a friend along the way which was good for all parties involved. I have been a stay at home mom and wife for the past 2-3 yrs now since I lost my friend due to the battle but I am eager to help another in need and possibly make a new friend.

I am very forth right, I take pride in giving hope and making tomorrow a brighter day for my clients. No job is to big or overwhelming for me to tackle. I am very protective and very loving. I am fast and efficient in emergency situations, I do not freeze or panic in my clients time of needs. I enjoy taking my clients out for activities and trips( no one can excel staying in a chair all day) Dr appointments, grocery shopping, puzzles, crafts and activities keep the mind sharp and on point. That's what I strive for[?] Whatever is important to my client becomes important to me and I will remember all of those dates and address them accordingly.. No house work is too much for me.. if they have a project they would like to do we will get it done one way or the other.. cooking is not a problem. Also am very familiar with thickened liquids and Pureed meals. Whatever they may need I am at their disposal.

i have worked in an ARF level 4 home for the last 19+ years. i am COR/First Aid certified as well as DSP 1 and 2 certified. i love caring for people of all ages and different abilities. I am a natural caregiver i love it and want to continue to do so for the next 20+ years. as you can see i'm loyal to my job my greatest accomplishment is staying loyal to one employer for so many years.

I have always been naturally caring. It was in 2010 when I felt the calling. 2011 I went to school to get my CNA license. I took care of my daughter who was undergoing treatment at the time. In 2013 I officially used my license at a local rehab facility. It was hard to leave my patients at the rehab facility who I had became close to and loved. 2015 I started to work at Sierra View where I floated to multiple departments. During that time I gain a better knowledge of how to take care and treat my patients. I and now looking to help a family in need to take care of their love one.

I'm very caring and loving person, that is why I love doing in home care. I was offered to do in home care while in Oregon, and it was just the perfect fit, I love running errands and being able to put a smile on someone's face by making them feel taken care of. What I enjoy the most is knowing that I'm giving someone better quality of life and taking stress off of them. I am a 20 year old female, who I consider myself to be a reliable, responsible, and respectful person. I am hardworking & willing to take on any tasks. I have worked in the past at a daycare as an assistant, I am good with kids and adults. I like helping people, I'm friendly and very patient especially older people or anyone that needs assistance, that's why I think these jobs will fit me. Currently I am not working I have a flexible schedule and I have a car. I was diagnosed with a neurological disorder called myasthenia gravis back in 2017, but I am getting treated for it & I got a surgery a couple months ago for it, and I'm doing much better now, I even got released to go back to work, and I feel as if this will be a good place to start once again.

Hello everyone, my name is Abygail, but you can call me Aby for short. I have had a year of experience with 4 Autistic children ranging from the ages 10 to 20. I have been more of a nanny as I not only provided all around care at various hours of the day and night, I built a bond with them. This relationship has kept me going as a care provider; I always felt the need to do more and to have fun while doing so. I guess that is what I enjoy most as being a caregiver is the bond that I have with my clients as I treat them like family. A personal achievement that I am proud of is being on a princess on the Miss Porterville court in 2017. I am proud of this accomplishment as it allowed me to be active within the community. It also allowed me to partake in activities with people of various ages and it created opportunities for me. I was not only a role model for future generations to come, but to those of my age within the community, and older.

I have been working for 2 years as a nurse assistant and I love helping others. It gives me pride to say I work helping people. My supervisors have described me as hard worker, easy to get along with, team player, self started, motivated, and reliable.

I became a care giver because I have an interest in the medical field and love to help people succeed in their daily lives. Being a care giver is enjoyable in many ways. You can see individuals grow and learn everyday. I enjoy being able to provide correct care and teaching individuals how to accomplish daily activists that may not be difficult to others but difficult to them. I have seen many great achievements in my career as a care giver. Individuals I have worked with have grown and been about to associate in daily life with encounter ment that we all come a crossed. I feel that is a huge achievement that is very important to me knowing that I was there to help an individual learn, grown, succeed, and live life as we all do. I'm really good with communicating with others. I have worked with individuals with high behaviors including aggressive behaviors. I have learned whether they have bad behaviors or have intellectual development issues does not make them any different then other because certain things they can't do. Not everyone can do everything. All people are and should be treated equal no matter what problems they have.
