To know me is to love me, especially due to having such a heart as mines. My personality speaks for itself and it's very loving and catching. I was attracted to becoming a caregiver/nurse because I have a heart and patience for others and I love sharing it with others. I've been caring for my mom over 18 years and I know what it's like to care for elderly, disabled, etc. I enjoy spending time and caring for people, especially the elderly because of the love that I have for my mom. My personal achievements are that I have several certificates HHA, PCT, Associate of Occupation, LPN graduate, future RN graduate, etc. In order to work in Healthcare, you first have to have the passion and love for it. I love caring and helping others and my heart desires for it.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy making others feel better when they are not well or unable to care for themselves. I enjoy every aspect of caring for others, it brings me so much joy just to see the look on each patients face when they know they have someone there they can depend on. My greatest personal achievement would have to be obtaining my certificate so that I may further my career in healthcare as I plan to return to school to obtain my RN. I became a care giver when I saw how little care my grandfather was giver when He was sick, I wanted to make a difference to families like me. At an early age my mom had a stroke and I helped with her care, from then on caregiving has been a passion for me. I like to care for people that need my care, it is a very rewarding feeling for me to see how at times my caring can make a difference in their lives. Few years ago I had a client that was very depressed, she didn't want to eat or get out of bed, by encouraging her, letting her know how much she is loved by her friends and family, she eventually came around and started to love life again. For over 20 years I have been working as a senior caregiver. I gained my experience working with clients who needed my help due to one, or more of these aliments: Alzheimer's, dementia, depression, cancer, diabetes, post surgery complications, Parkinson's, etc. I also worked as a companion. I take great pride in my job. I am devoted, caring, loving and most of all a trustworthy person. I am a strong believer in keeping my client's environment clean, that it will contribute to better health.
