I grew up knowing that I wanted to be like my idol, my grandmother, who was a RN. I knew when I was a candy striper in my teens that iI wanted to continue to take care of those who couldn't because of the feeling of helping a patient get better or die with dignity and not alone filled my soul with gratitude that I was given the opportunity to make a difference in their live by God. When i was 20 I was married and my husband did not want me to do that kind of,work so I was in Retail Management for over 25 years. When I was no longer married I went to school and received my CNA License and I was able to fill my heart and soul again with that peace that I receive from helping others and when they sincerely thank me I am still overwhelmed with happiness. Dignity is a huge part of a person's happiness and to help with that juat completes me. I do hope to go further with my education in the medical field and become a RN. I have an Associate's Degree in Business Management. Other than that I love animals, the ocean/beach, riding horses and a good book. I am a,Christian, however when working with a patient I respect their believes.

We have a mini farm we are slowly getting more serious about becoming growing more of our own food. We are trying to plant more fruit trees and get our bee's figured out. I am very much animal lover of my fur kids. I have 3 fur kids mollie (English long legged )and rebel (typical ones seen short legs great jumpers) both Jack's different types. Our new fur kid is dixie Belgian Malinois my husband is training her. My husband is local police officer.

I am a mother of two that are both away at College and so I am an empty nester looking to work part time on weekends to suppliment my childrens financial needs as well as fill my newly found alll to quite time! I am a RN with 20 years of experiance in Home Health, Dementia/Alzheimers and currently a Director of Health Services for the past 6 years.

I retired10 years ago and wanted to make a difference in people's lives. Got a job at Walmart and discovered very little opportunities to reach people. Heard of homecare and attended CNA classes at Manor at Bluewater Bay, FL. To get professional training went to work in Nursing home owned by Signature Health Services, a large organization. Despite the glowing accolades of superior services, I discovered very little time and cut corners on cleaning residents messes, shoving food before they finished swallowing and excuses for not answering call lights. This has prompted me to cut my planned 12-24 month experience short and go into one on one caregiving. I quit a job in SC to go assist my 95-year-old Father. Then accompanied my wife when she sat with clients, I did the cooking (Healthful, tasty and attractive meals) housecleaning, laundry and driving to Drs appointments, shopping trips, visiting, chatting, and playing games with the clients. Have worked well with both Male and Female clients.
