I was attracted to being a caregiver after caring for my own family members and felt the need to help more people in my community. I finished my schooling in Peoria IL, at Methodist College and completed my internship in the ICU at Methodist Hospital.

I have many years experience with caregiving and have been in the health field since 1984. Always attending to those special needs of the client, with the upmost respect. Doing any tasks at hand, according to the care plan. To make sure, they know they can trust me and I am there for them. I helped taking care of my heavenly Stepdad and it made my heart whole. I would take care of others, just like they was family. I am very tentative and compassionate and want them to trust me. I love helping out others, in time of need. Is a position where it requires many hats and I have worn many. I have been there for many, until the end. To do my job that best that I can, to show them I care and see a smile, would complete my day.

I do have an associate in education, I am a CNA certified, I have a great driving record I have been driving a bus for 11 years.. I am great with people love to just go for a drive some times .. I love the out doors...

Hi I am ami. Ive been in healthcare for 7 + years im very passionate about what i do . I grew up in nursing homes all my life my mother is a registered nurse. I am very dependable and hardworking im fun to be around have a very postive outlook and enjoy comforting others i take what i do very seriously. My clients depend on me daily im there to make things as easy for them as possible. I am a christian and my skills and heart for this kind of work is from god .no task is below me just ask and im willing to serve. I have had the most amazing clients in the past . ive worked with familys very closely, doctors , and hospice.Im very caring and understanding. Im also detailed and efficient. I know so much when it comes to personal care from medical to mental and emotional care for loved one's.

I feel like what makes me a great caregiver is I put my clients or residents first. I care for them like I care for my own children. I chose to go into caregiving because at the end of the day I know I made a difference in their day making life a bit easier for them and giving them a better outlook on life knowing somebody is there for them. It's very hard for me to leave my residents because they have became part of my family, my family knows them all and even my children love my residents and my residents and coworkers love my family as well. I feel like I mainly chose this path because I wanted to be able to help others as much as others have helped and blessed me. If I can do it for my own family why not share my care with others who need it as well. It warms my soul to see my family and the people I support smile and feel loved because they know I truly care.

I am very compassionate about seniors and love helping them so they can stay in their homes longer. I am very patient and have nine years of experience in this field. I started out working as a Caregiver because I've always been a Caregiver in some way or another and quickly realized how much I enjoy working with seniors and how patient I am with them. I know that some days I will be the only face they see so I want to make them smile and make it count. The thing I most enjoy is seeing how happy I make them and knowing not only that they need help but that I am the one who is able to help them. I find this job very rewarding in that aspect. I have had so many clients tell me how it takes a special person to do this job, that I'm definitely one of those people and to never give it up because a lot of people need me. Just hearing those words make me realize I'm doing the right thing and that makes me proud.
